HP’s has recently announced HP G62t laptop in US market that is powered by Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor and it features 15.6-inch 16:9 LED backlight display offering 1366 x 768 pixel resolution for viewing HD content and includes a completely redesigned full-size keyboard.
Clad in black-edged display featuring curved-bottom base unit which is clearly styling influence from the HP Envy line of laptops, the new HP G62t series laptop boasts of 15.6-inch LED backlight BrightView display in 16:9 aspect ratio 200 nit brightness powered by integrated Intel HD Graphics with shared video memory allowing upto 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and features a redesigned full-size keyboard and multi-touch touchpad
The G62t is also available with discrete graphics that includes 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Graphics, or 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Graphics card.
The new HP G62t comes in a choice of variety of Intel Core series processors that includes Intel Core i3-330M Dual Core processor having 2.13GHz, 3MB L2 Cache or Intel Core i3-350M Dual Core processor with 2.26GHz, 3MB L2 Cache) or Intel Core i5-430M Dual Core processor with 2.26GHz, 3MB L2 Cache with Turbo Boost up to 2.53GHz or Intel Core i5-520M Dual Core processor (2.40GHz, 3MB L2 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz or Intel Core i5-540M Dual Core processor (2.53GHz, 3MB L2 Cache) or Intel Core i7-620M Dual Core processor (2.66GHz, 4MB L3 Cache).
The laptop includes 3GB DDR3 RAM with maximum 4GB DDR3 and a 160GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive. Optionally, it also offers a 250GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive / 320GB 7200RPM SATA / 500GB 7200RPM SATA HDD.
The HP G62t laptop comes with windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS preinstalled and the laptop also offers choice of optical drives including SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support / LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support / Blu-ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support / Lightscribe Blu-ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support.
The HP G62t laptop also features WiFi 802.11b/g/N connectivity, Bluetooth and built-in 56K modem, built-in Altec Lansing stereo speakers, 3 usb 2.0 ports, 1 Headphone out port, microphone in, RJ45 jack for 10/100/1000 ethernet and optional 8-in-1 media card reader.
Only 1.25-inch thick, the HP G62t laptop comes with with 6-cell battery which offers over 9 hrs of power on full charge and is currently available only in US at the starting price of US $599.99.
